Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian model and actress. In Australia she gained notoriety due to her role as Pepper Steiger that she played in the soap drama Neighbors with a total of 100 episodes from 2006 to 2007. The actress arrived in Hollywood with two projects beginning with the choral comedy Hollywood & Wine in which she was a young actress making her debut in Hollywood. She then landed a role in the role of Maya who was a hot beautiful medical student, in Scrubs the ninth season. The show is then abruptly put on hold. Following that, she was able to make an episode of the Farrelly brothers-produced comedy called Good To Shoot that starred Jason Sudeikis Owen Wilson tandem. Thereafter the actress was featured in small-scale series and B series films. The year 2013 allowed her to land more exposed projects. She appeared on six of episodes in the show detective Franklin and Bash then landed her first regular role in the web-series Chosen that is played by Milo Ventimiglia. In the first two series she is also an answer to Chad Michael Murray. Then she played roles of support in the two feature films which are based on aircrafts. One of them was a TV film produced by SyFy's Flight 7500 with actors from the television shows. In the other, she is Le Chaos with Nicolas Cage. She is an air hostess. She also shares with Gabriel Luna the poster of a brand new television series called Matador. The series is a thriller in which the actors embody CIA agents. It is directed by the director Robert Rodriguez however does not surpass a full season of 13 episodes. The pilot for a second series, that hasn't yet been completed, is in production. In 2015, she also released her poster for the B-series romantic comedy Borrowed Moments with Brian Krause Then she was as a character in comedy Witness for Rent worn by Kevin Hart Josh Gad and Kaley Cuoco. Additionally, she was an integral part of the huge audience of the experimental Knight of Cups by Terrence Malick. She also appears in five episodes of the Satisfaction TV series.
