Sheryl underwood is a stand-up comedian, television host, as well as an actor in the United States. She's most well-known for her part as the Talk's daytime co-host. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas was raised between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl lives in a family that is turbulent. She spent the majority of her childhood taking care of Frankie. Frankie suffered from the disease polio. When she was growing up, Sheryl had many problems with her mom. Sheryl says that her mother was once brutally stabbed by her father over getting too close. Sheryl, after graduating college, joined the army. But, she was interested in comedy. In 1989, she became the first woman to reach the finals in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. In 1992 she made her TV debut as a regular performer in the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. The show was in the show Oh Drama! as the host in 2000. Since 2011, she has been appearing as a co-host on the talk show The Talk. She has also played the fictional character in TV shows like Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
